Lithe bodies, perfect skin, unimaginably wise and… down to fuck? In his latest editorial, Franaus takes a look at the otherworldly beauty and seductive appeal of elves in 3DX and other media.
3DX royalty
As a young teenager, puberty came knocking right around the time the first Lord of the Rings released in theatres. And, with it, came the beautiful Arwen. Now this elven princess wasn’t actually the first I had come across – Princess Zelda has that title – but she was by far the hottest (I mean Liv Tyler, come on!)
What made her even hotter was the fact that she was so untouchable and perfect. This is a princess who is 2700 years old, immortal and promised to the king of a fictional land on the verge of utter destruction. But it’s precisely that perfection that made her so hot.

Haneto’s perfect elves are masterpieces.
Fast forward to a few years back, and Garrett wrote a cool piece on elves and their attraction in 3DX. Indeed, elves have always been a central theme/fetish within this branch of porn. If you think about it though, it’s not that surprising. As Garrett points out, their aloofness and untouchable nature helps make them so irresistible. I guess it’s just human nature to want to corrupt such a perfect creature. And as Garrett points out, they’re basically the queens of Milfs, with literally centuries, if not millennia of experience. Also, think about it. If you had an eternity on your hands and were surrounded by impossibly beautiful people, how long would it be before everyone was fucking each other? And think about how much time you would have to experiment. I wonder if there’s an elven version of the Kamasutra somewhere? Man would that be a fun read! In fact that might be a fun 3DX set, don’t you think?

Jenna is stripped of her warrior status.
3DX is particularly suited to sexualizing elves. I mean, we’ve all seen the LOTR or fantasy porn spin offs with shitty makeup and horrible acting. The pointed ears barely stay on as what is clearly a human actress gets pounded in just another boring doggy-style scene. 3DX however isn’t limited to a makeup or script budget. Artists are free to let loose on their wildest fetishes and fantasies. Furthermore, they’re not constrained by the need for quick action, short take scenes. A traditional porno needs to keep things moving, with a delicate balance of just the right amount of script before everyone starts fucking. Now, of course, if Peter Jackson had wanted to, and had the available budget, he could have turned the LOTR saga into one giant fantasy porn flick (although not sure he’d have obtained the rights with that film pitch). But it’s just so much easier and believable with 3DX. Indeed, an artist can pitch the hottest, most arrogant elven princess against the roughest orc with a massive cock. And let’s face it, we all love to watch those seemingly untouchable creatures get gang banged in the dirt or in some dank dungeon.
When I broached the subject of a new article about elves, Marie brought up the fact that these creatures never seem to fade from the 3DX scene. She made the point that the easy availability of fantasy themed assets also helped with this, but it can’t be denied that some of the hottest sets in the Affect3D Store are based around elves. Take Jared999D’s Elf Slave series for example: everything about this saga makes the female elves (be it Karen, Suzi or Jenna) hot as fuck. Firstly, the background scenario really helps pitch the scene. Indeed, the age-old war between orcs and elves adds that extra touch of tension and humiliation to the elves’ enslavement. We the readers also get the impression the war isn’t going that well for the elves. For one, we never see any male elf warriors. And secondly, the fact that orcs and goblins have set up a slave trade of elves and humans, really creates the sense of desperation. The orcs have so little regard for their ancient enemies, they’re literally pimping them out. It’s what any ancient society did when invading another. Slavery was not only an excellent trading strategy, it served to utterly crush and rip apart a culture.

Jared’s layout and concept explanations are also set out to highlight the orcs’ physical advantages and dominance.
There’s also the fact that the three elves in this series grow to enjoy their plights, growing more and more submissive with each episode, adding to their utter humiliation. Take Jenna for example, even when given the chance at revenge, she still fucks an orc senseless, as if already too far gone to really be elf royalty anymore. Jared also skillfully leaves his characters with just the right amount of pride. Their facial expressions and demeanor, along with a remanence of jewelry, really helps remind us that these are still princesses – slaves or no.

Smerinka is another artist who uses the elves’ perfection as a means to sexualize them.
I don’t know about you, but those pornos wherein a seemingly innocent babe is corrupted and fucked senseless by a monster cock, really does something for me. Again, it’s the notion of corruption and perversion. You take something perfect and completely sour it. Just writing about it turns me on!
Even Tolkien toyed with their corruption. Orcs are after all the result of elves being tortured into madness and deformity until they are no longer recognizable.
Far from perfect
But elves aren’t just perfection. Indeed, Norse and Germanic folklore (as mentioned by Garrett), more often than not depict these creatures as cunning and even naughty, sometimes even downright dangerous. In Norse mythology, (as pointed out in this article) elves are both ethereal and perfect beings as well as harbingers of disease and misery. Much like the ancient Greek gods, they enjoy playing with humans. They are also enshrined in mystery. In Irish folklore, the aos sí are an ancient and mysterious people that live in vast underground kingdoms. One must make offerings to avoid angering them. Trespassing on one of their domains (a forest for example) could lead to kidnapping (often of children). It’s also believed that the anglo saxon word ælf and its feminine derivative ælbinne were a translation of Latin nymphs (notoriously promiscuous and naughty creatures themselves).

Lord Kvento’s Meralin is the exemplification of elf curiosity and naughtiness.
Elves, fairies or nymphs are hence very often seen as naughty creatures, intent on having fun, as well as being curious and sometimes causing harm. Indeed, “the notable characteristics of elves were mischief and volatility” as stated by the Britannica encyclopedia. Combine that to their aura of perfection and you get the perfect mix of trickery, curiosity and elusivity. They may not be easy to capture or seduce, but if you manage to, you’re in for one hell of a ride.

3DZen really digs into the naughty and curious side of elves.
I mean they may be creatures of fiction, but a definite proof of their cunning nature is the simple fact that they have managed to survive and even thrive throughout history. To this day, despite nearly two millennia of Christianity, elves (like vampires or werewolves) hold an important place in European culture. And this despite the fact that they are unashamed pagans. After all, has anyone ever heard of an elven conversion to any monotheist religion? They are far too intertwined with the notion of polytheism or a Gaya like presence to be converted, unlike many ancient gods or spirits. To be honest, they’re also way too naughty when you think about it.
Now combine that curiosity with a massive cock (as Lord Kvento so deftly knows how) and you get the perfect 3DX storm. Garrett rightly pointed out that Eralin and Meralin might be one of the all-time classics of the elf 3DX genre. Personally, it was one of the earliest examples of 3DX I remember (besides G4E) and I know I’ll always find it hot as fuck.
The dark side
Elves also have an obscure side. As mentioned earlier, folklore often describes these creatures as the bringer of harm or illness. In other words, if you piss them off, they’ll definitely retaliate. But perhaps it’s also to do with their stature as ethereal beings. Just like vampires or even angels, they can be beautiful, but deadly.

D&D’s raven queen.
Almost every modern fantasy representation of elves depicts a darker version of these beings. In Warhammer there are dark elves, Magic has its own version and Dungeons and Dragons have shadow elves (of course Warcraft has its own variety too and so on). I’m actually surprised there aren’t more representations in 3DX of these somber creatures. Vampires have their place with Lanessa and Cerene at their head. But not elves. I guess the idea of corrupting innocence is sexier than portraying all powerful elf queens. And to be honest I get it. But I’m kinda curious as to what a sexy evil dark elf queen would do with her power. Just like fallen angels or vampires her power would be immense. And perhaps it could include growing a dick and changing between sexes at her will.

Just imagine this is a futa and you’re set.
Many facets
Whether they’re innocent, perfect, corrupted or evil, elves are fascinating creatures. And let’s face it, so hot. Arwen basically kicked off my puberty. Unfortunately (or not) for me at the time, I only had my imagination to depict her as I wanted. Nowadays of course things are different. 3DX and the internet offers an endless list of elven porn depictions. And right here at Affect3D we are lucky enough to get the best of that genre, if you ask me. I feel that there is a lot left to explore, however. There’s still a veil of mystery that shrouds these beings. Maybe there always will be. I mean after all, it is what makes up at least part of their charm. I guess if you ran into an elf on the street, banging away at her phone on Snapchat, she’d lose a part of that subtle and puzzling demeanor. Elves are similar to us, but also appear to hover above us. Which is what makes watching them be fucked in the mud, so appealing. So I have no doubt or objection to the fact that this particular fantasy branch will continue to flourish in 3DX. These are creatures that truly live up to their immortal characteristics. They’ve managed to survive and thrive in folklore and media for millennia and continue to do so. Not only this, but they seem capable of fitting into many genres outside of the fantasy spin – science fiction for example. I know I personally would love to see more deep space sets featuring futuristic elves getting fucked senseless.

X3Z’s portrayal of elves in space is pretty damned hot.
How about you? What’s your favorite elf fantasy? Do you have any ideas as to how they can be depicted differently in 3DX? Or maybe there’s still a lot to build on in the genre! Let us know in the comments!
