Nikita Hedon has a wonderful talent for composition. The environment of this piece is fully furnished with modern décor. However, the bright white and pale blue of the room create a sort of empty canvas calling attention to the beautiful woman centered on the rug. The contrast between cold and warm is wonderful, and invites you to focus on the balancing act taking place.

Samus Aran, the protagonist of the video game franchise Metroid, is a space bounty hunter of the Galactic Federation. Because she’s one of the most well-known female protagonists in video games, Samus Aran impacts not only the future of the franchise but also the gaming industry. Not only that, she has also made quite the impression in the 3DX world. She has done so by inspiring 3DX artists to use her in their work and fulfilling the many fantasies that have only been able to stay within our minds.

Creating a Surprise

While we have all come to love the beautiful heroine we see today, she was originally a he. Despite concealing the gender identity by incorporating a power suit, the instruction manual for the original game (released in 1986) referred to Samus as a male. If the player beat the game in under 2 hours; however, or used special passwords discovered that Samus is, in fact a woman. So what happened? Metroid co-creator Yoshio Sakamoto explains:

“When we were almost done with the development of Metroid, one of our staffers casually suggested, ‘why don’t we make Samus Aran a female character to surprise the player?’ Back then I thought it was a nice idea, but I couldn’t forsee what a huge impact this would have on the future of the franchise.”

And thus the revolution began. A female as the lead character in a video game opened the doors for many other leading females throughout the years.

Metroid inspired a number of video games with strong female leads. A few iconic female leads worth noting are Bayonetta, Jill Valentine from Resident Evil and Chun-Li from Street Fighter. They’re women who are independent, possess a take-no-prisoners attitude, can take charge and overcome any situation. Such characteristics are what makes them stand out. To show that you can be a badass without a man is just as empowering as it is sexy.

Fun in a Zero Suit

Samus is one of the most popular females in gaming and inspired many games to have just as iconic female leads. We can’t overlook her aesthetic appeal, however. We’ll also gloss briefly over the Iray render engine, as all light settings that we use are specific to the engine we render our ladies with.

Story and characters

Animation and game play

This product is a kind of animation game. You can advance the story by clicking on certain sentences on the screen, and you can also change the look of Kami-tan or the speed of the scene by yourself. So you get partly-animated images which are somewhat customizable instead of a full animation.

Even though it’s not a full animation, the animated parts that are look really nice. They’ve chosen to give movement to the most important areas, such as eyes, mouth, boobs and hand movements. They’ve also added several camera movements, light effects and zoom in shots to add more action to some scenes.

The gameplay is rather simple, as you move forward by clicking on the white sentences on the screen. As soon as you arrive at a sex scene, several more options appear which you can choose by either clicking or using shortcut keys on the keyboard. For example, while Kami-tan is giving you a hand job you can zoom in, change the expression on her face and you can speed up her hand movements. In the final sex scene you can even choose from different voice patterns, expressions and body movements. I think this is a really nice addition.

Sound

The starting menu has some really nice and upbeat background music. As soon as you start the game the music fades away. From then on, the succubus’s voice will mostly guide the game, accompanied by special effect sounds to raise the tension.

There are sounds when the scene switches or when the camera zooms in. There are some lightning effects and sounds when the succubus uses her magic and one really noticeable sound is a heartbeat. This heartbeat really raises the tension. It starts off slow when you move into a sex scene, and at the end it appears again and speeds up to lead into the cum shot.

I feel like Kami-tan’s voice is a really important aspect of the game. She talks to you in a very teasing way, as if she’s challenging you. The lines she says are also displayed on the screen itself. A downside may be that it’s fully Japanese, both voice and the text, so this may take down a bit of the experience. So it’s kind of a pity that you might not be able to fully understand what she’s saying. Still, the voice actor did a really good job and just from listening you do get the gist of the atmosphere.

Sex scenes

Apart from the short introduction at the beginning of the game, the rest are all sex scenes. In total there are three scenes: two hand jobs and one sex scene with girl on top. As explained before, all scenes are partly animated and are customizable, which is a really nice touch! This adds variety to the scene, and makes it less static. You can also watch the scene for as long as you like, as you can control when to move onward with the next one.

Kami-tan also speaks for a fairly long time each scene, so you won’t have moments of awkward silence. In the final scene you can even choose what sound you’d like to hear from her. Unfortunately there are only three scenes. So if you are someone who, even with those available options, quickly gets tired of one scene and rushes through the game, you’ll get to the end very quick.

Conclusion

It’s a nice game and the possibility to customize the scenes is really nice. The character design of the succubus is great and her voice is really fitting. Unfortunately there are only three sex scenes, so if you go through them quickly the game is rather short. Because the product is from Japan there is some censorship and all voices and text are in Japanese as well, so that is also something to take into consideration.

Hey there 3DX fans, today’s MOTD comes from the very talented CUBiKO. You may have seen something like this before, say…five years ago, maybe?

What I love here the most is the angle the artists has chosen. Indeed, as an architect, this just really does it for me. The camera is in plan-view over the model, giving us the perfect angle to take in this woman’s voluptuous curves. Furthermore, the background is simple and effective at directing our attention onto the woman. This really creates an intimate relationship between us and her. Not only this, but her gaze is also cast nonchalantly to the side, as though she didn’t have a care in the world. Now personally, that careless attitude in a woman only makes me want her more. Lastly, I really love how CUBiKO varies the skin texture, tone and lighting. Just take a look at the detail, at how her nipples stand out, and the goosebumps on her skin – perhaps from the cold or from her arousal.

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Chinsen, a talented 3DX artist and photographer. He is officially is stepping away from 3DX due to some unfortunate circumstances. I sincerely hope the opportunity presents itself for him to bring his passion back to 3DX, stronger than ever. Chinsen provided thoughtful and humble answers to my questions. He also had some great tips for 3DX artists about some things you can learn from the photography skill set. At the end of the interview, we have a downloadable link to his final (incomplete) project, the game Sluts and Spies.

I understand you will be making a gift of your last 3DX project, Sluts and Spites. What would you like to tell us about it?

Well it was the project I started with Gunde (writer).

I was posting a lot on DA at the time and I got a story in my notes from Gunde because he was inspired by my characters. I was searching for a way to tell a story and I thought his writing was absolutely perfect. So Gunde started writing and I began on setting up the scene, and there things started.

It was supposed to be a series of stories about Raven and Rose and a lot of other characters (Gunde already wrote a lot of stories about them), but my personal life became a roller coaster more than a year ago and I had to make a lot of difficult decisions.

One of them was to sell my render rig I bought after the set Detention because I had to find a lot of money in a small amount of time. So, that’s why this set has been sleeping on my hard drive for more than a year now. I thought it was time to just share it with the people who love my work so they see what I was creating, and hopefully they’ll like it…

I know it ends when it becomes interesting, but I wanted a set that had a build up to the sex scenes. And I personally like the teasing Raven does to the functionary. I like the idea that these women can do whatever they want to their male counterparts because they know how to use their looks. They are all powerful in a way, because all men share the same weakness

Would you be interested in collaborating with another artist or allowing them to continue the project?

I think it would be difficult to let another artist finish it, just because these characters feel like they are my babies. I put a lot of time in character design, because I think unique and recognizable characters are something a lot of the good 3DX artists have. So, it would be very hard for me to let someone else tell these stories about Raven, Rose, Bryci and Angela.

Do you have any advice for those considering becoming 3DX artists?

Do what you love and accept the fact that you won’t create the images you have in mind from day one. There’s a lot that defines the end result, and you just have to learn what works for you step by step.

It isn’t a shame to fail in creating, just make sure you learn from it. I myself still have so much to learn, but I think that this is something that draws people in. You are constantly learning and you keep getting better with each picture you create. So, it’s definitely rewarding if you need that kick of creating something.

I see you’re also a talented photographer. Which camera equipment do you use? Canon, Nikon, Hasselblad?

I don’t see myself as someone who is talented in anything, I just always had that need to create.

I turned to photography again because I had to give up on 3DX. I use Nikon and Elinchrom. Those are the two brands I use at the moment, but I don’t think gear makes a good photograph. So, if it’s Nikon, Canon or Sony etc… A good picture is a good picture Of course, if I can dream, I would love to shoot with Hasselblad.

In what ways do you feel creating art via photography and 3DX are similar? How are they different? Which skills from one do you feel help the other?

They both give me a high when I create something, and they both give me the desire to do it better the next time. So, in that way they are identical.

They are different in the way you make it. 3D is a lot more difficult because there is so much more that comes with it. The way I see it is that, if you have the passion, everyone can become a photographer, but not everyone can become a 3DX artist. Even I failed, and I definitely had the passion for it.

My knowledge of photography helped me to make better images in 3D because you understand the importance of light and you know how to use it. Also, knowing what a specific lens does to your image helps in 3D. The understanding of depth of field and how you achieve it, etc, are all things that are helpful.

I enjoy seeing people find professional joy in their passions. Have you considered using a crowdfunding method like Kickstarter or GoFundMe to get back into producing 3DX artwork?

For a short time I considered Patreon, because I was seeking a way to fund Sluts and Spies, so I didn’t have to give up on it after the roller coaster kicked in. But everything went so fast that I abandoned that idea… I also had the feeling I wouldn’t be able to give people enough in return to fund me. So I’ve never done it.

Is there anything else you would like to say to fans of your work?

Well, first of all I would like to thank them for all the support they gave me… I want to apologize for not being able to complete my vision and I hope they like what they see. I release this unfinished story for them. Because they gave me the boost I needed to create and I’m really thankful to them.

I won’t say I’ll never create 3DX again, for the moment it’s just not possible.

While still images are great and all, a short clip/GIF just offers so much more! This particularly mesmerizing loop features two of Poru’s common divas from Twice as Nice. Even as a work in progress, the clip shows astounding finer details and value as both art and fap material!

Hi everyone! After last month’s flop of a review, I decided to keep it simple this time and pick something safe. Simple Onesan Sex Movie Collection by Pozhara fit the bill, with a sun-kissed leading lady and high quality preview images.

Getting Started

It’s been stupidly hot in Sydney this past week. So I decided to watch Simple Onesan at my desk. (For clarification, my bedroom is an oven I dare not venture into.) Wearing only a bra and panties, I sat down to see what I was in for.

“Fuck!” was my first thought.

Inside the folder were 25 separate clips, all 10 seconds long…As I’ve said before, this is generally a bad sign. Immediately I worried this would be a repeat of October’s review. Thankfully, it was not.

Watching Simple Onesan all the way through, the total run time is only about 4 minutes long. Fortunately, you can easily string the clips together in a playlist to make a longer, customized movie. Any clips I liked got looped two to three times, while clips I hated got dumped without hesitation. Before I knew it I had the perfect playlist for sticking my hand down my panties.

A couple complaints

There are two major drawbacks of Simple Onesan for me, the first being that the audio can get distracting. There is a noticeable amount of voice recycling, even before looping the clips in your own playlist. After hearing the voice actress moan like a squeaky chew toy enough times I just had to mute it all. That’s not a terrible thing, however, as it make the whole thing a bit like watching looping porn GIFs on Tumblr.

There is some censorship, unfortunately.

The second big complaint is that the male character is a soft, white-haired dude with a sickly pale complexion. Now I tend to enjoy the average guy x hot girl dynamic in porn, but when it comes to 3DX I feel like there’s often something off about it. Men with average builds can be sexy but when I see that body type attempted in 3DX it’s just…not. It will be overly flabby, formless, and feminine, and I have no idea why.

Onto the fun part

Anyway, with audio muted and unflattering shots removed, I had a nice 7-minute loop that I could watch indefinitely. What I liked most about these clips is that there’s not much identity to them. Lack of identity sounds negative, but for me it’s perfect, allowing me to project any story I want onto it. During the first watch through of my revised playlist I imagined the onesan as a serious professional woman who was being blackmailed into sex by her subordinate.

As the loop went on, so did the story of onesan’s work scandal… As you’d expect, around the clock sex wasn’t enough to appease the blackmailer, and soon onesan had to promote him to keep the information he had on her a secret. From there he quickly climbed through the ranks, impressing his new co-workers and onesan’s superiors through a number of chance encounters. Poor onesan is forced to work double-time to keep up with him as a co-worker while simultaneously keeping his balls empty.

It works for me

Before onesan knows it, her blackmailer is in a position where he could soon be taking her job no matter what she does. Fortunately, he’s not that ruthless, and offers her “a generous” (his words) ultimatum. Onesan can either be replaced by him outright and get packing, or she can “stop taking those pesky pills” of hers. That way, in due time, she can take an extended leave of absence for maternity, allowing him to assume her role at the company temporarily. This would allow him plenty of time to carve out his next promotion so that when she’s ready to come back to work he’ll be well on his way up the ladder. She will, of course, be exactly where she was before any of this started… save for now having to care for his progeny. “A win-win,” as he puts it.

So maybe that scenario is a little dark… But hey, I came right around the start of the second loop!

Wrapping up

With Simple Onesan, there’s definitely a lot of replay value here for me. Your mileage may vary, however, depending on your ability to get into it. No transitions or cum shot will be a shortcoming for many, but for $3 it’s hardly a deal breaker. And for someone like me who only needs some decent animation to fixate on, Simple Onesan makes for a wonderful perpetual loop. Check it out if you’re so inclined! Until next time. ❤️

We’ve talked at length about the fact that women are the primary audience of most erotica. The dramatic plot, relatable emotions, and very often the graphic descriptions of bringing a woman to orgasm. So for me as a woman, there’s this giant disconnect between what I think 3DX could be and what it is with subpar men.

In my column as the Literotic, i’ve discussed a lot of ways to improve sets on the whole in ways that erotica have as part of the writing process. Sexy men go hand in hand with many of them, including body language, wittier dialogue and tension. If a couple finds each other irresistible, tension improves and body language becomes more interesting. It’s also, in my opinion, gives more to look at. If you have a set and there’s two women, the artist has usually worked equally hard on both of them. But if it’s a heterosexual couple or some kind of group sex, the men are always below her. They’re not usually characters in their own right and if they are, they’re not usually interesting.

Having sexier men could only benefit the 3DX community. I see no reason to be denied what pleases me the most while looking at an erotic set of images. From erotica, I get the sense of watching a very attractive man bring a beautiful woman sensations she never experienced before. I want to see and imagine the pleasure to be had on both sides of the exchange. Currently in 3DX, just having an attractive woman makes the possibilities much smaller than they have to be. I’m denied that sexy half smile before positions are switched unexpectedly and everything else that erotic descriptions give me about an encounter with two main characters.

And there are sexy male faces and outfits available for the Genesis 3 Male figure on DAZ 3D. It’s not just something I wish we had. It’s something I wish we’d use. If we’d like to get more converts from written erotica involved, the first thing we need to do is use attractive men.
